- a loose and informal alliance of organisations and individuals within Australia that provide support to primary and secondary students' active participation in school governance and curriculum.

Connect was a bi-monthly practice journal supporting student participation. Published since 1979, it documented examples of active student participation in primary and secondary schools, reviewed and developed resources, and provided information about relevant events.
BCE Student Voice was initiated by the BCE Student Protection team in 2017. It began with a deliberate focus on enhancing students' sense of safety, belonging and connection in BCE Schools. It believes that partnerships with students are vital to creating innovation, resilience and hope within the BCE education system.
The Minister's Student Council is the peak forum for interaction between NSW public school students, Education NSW and the New South Wales Government.

The Student Voice Hub has been established by the VicSRC. It exists first and foremost for students. It is designed BY young people, FOR young people. Developed and run by the VicSRC, and designed by students, the Teach the Teacher program is a student-led professional development program for teachers that enables students to address issues affecting them. By giving students a greater say in their education, Teach the Teacher aims to create an inclusive culture where everyone's voices are equally heard.
The Victorian Student Representative Council (VicSRC) is a student-run organisation. They are the peak body representing school-aged students in Victoria. They exist to empower all student voices to be valued in every aspect of education.
YOUTHINK is a student-run, virtual newspaper branching across multiple schools within the City of Melbourne.
Second Strike is Australia’s expert student voice and student leadership training company, based in Victoria. We specialise in tailor-making a training program to suit your exact needs, whether you are re-creating your leadership structure, wanting to inspire the House Captains to do more than just sport, hoping to escape the fundraising trap, or have a high functioning Student Representative Council that needs a new challenge. As of 2020, the operation of Second Strike was on hold.
The Victorian Institute of SRC Teacher Advisors (VISTA) was the professional association for Victorian teachers working with Student Councils. It catered for both primary and secondary schools, across all sectors by providing opportunities for teachers to network in their own region and across the state. Its operation was on-hold at the start of 2016.
The NSW SRC was the peak student leadership consultative and decision-making forum supported by the NSW Department of Education and Training. It represented all secondary students in NSW government schools. Student leadership functions and processes in NSW are being reviewed in 2014 and the NSW SRC no longer meets, pending that review.
Rising Generations was a not-for-profit organisation based in New South Wales, which facilitated interactive leadership and self-esteem development programs for young people from Years 5-12 in schools across Australia. It closed in 2014.
