But it's a conflicted date also called Invasion Day and Survival Day. We recognise that for many people - both First Nations, and others of settler and immigrant background - it is not a day to celebrate, but a day of reflection on where and how we have come to today - and the injustices that still exist. So we explore such ideas through music today, as we normally do each year, and again mainly through diverse Aboriginal and Indigenous voices.
