Playlist #1684 for Global Village (PBS-FM, Melbourne, Australia) for Sunday May 5, 2024. We tell cultural stories here in the Global Village. Joining us today are two distinctive story-tellers: Nela Trifković from Bosnia and Lamine Sonko from Senegal; they're here to tell us about a concert that combines their story-telling with music. They play some music live for us today too. And later, we wander the world, with new music from Bosnia, Macedonia, Palestine, Ukraine, Turkey, Hungary, Italy, Catalunya, Chile, Argentina, Canada, Norway, India and Algeria - and from Australia of course. Roger Holdsworth presenting. (A): Australian artists - all or partly.
