It was May Day yesterday: a day that marks changes of seasons, but also a day marking hopes for renewal, change and revolution. So, as we have done in recent years, today's Global Village explores the music of change. Some of that is about social change; some of it is about traditions associated with the time of the year. We interweave those orientations. We're in the Western Sahara, Australia, England, Iran, Germany, Ireland, Greece, Cuba, Italy, Japan, France, Sweden, USA, Spain and Portugal. All this without leaving home: such is the magic of the Global Village Tourist Office. Oh, and we hear a segment of Greek music pointing to a concert happening next weekend.
